The Brief:

“i want the garden to relect the house, inside outside living”

This garden had to compliment the new extension and summer houses. For the young family it needed space for socialising, family time and a dog. From the bare ground we laid a contemporary porcelain patio edged using natural clay pavers. giving the existing contrast of the existing heritage feel and polished contemporary. A path to the boundary opened up the grounds and create more space and accessibility. Plants and wildlife were important, reflects the traditional surroundings with summer-flowering perennials and evergreen shrubs for year‑round interest. Lighting and pergola finish the scheme and make the garden a refined evening space.
